Jamie R. Weaver
Mr. Weaver has been the head band director at Creek Valley Middle School since the school opened in 2001. He directs the Wind Ensemble and teaches beginning trumpet and French horn classes. Mr. Weaver spends approximately 150 days each calendar year presenting leadership and team-building seminars for teachers and students around the United States. Some of his more notable appearances include the Bands of America's Summer Symposium, Fall Marching Band Regional Championships, and Grand Nationals Championships; the nationally acclaimed George N. Parks Drum Major Academy; guest speaker at Columbine High School (CO); and serving as a consultant to the Charlotte/Mecklenburg School District (NC). Before coming to Creek Valley, Mr. Weaver was the director of bands at Groesbeck Middle School in Groesbeck, Texas. While in Groesbeck, his middle school band was awarded the first UIL Sweepstakes award in the history of the school and was named a State Finalist in the ATSSB Outstanding Performance Series in 2000. He concurrently served as assistant director at Groesbeck High School where they were named State Finalist in the TMEA State Honor Band Competition in class AAA. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Mr. Weaver studied trumpet with Vince DiMartino, Bob Thompson, and Terry Everson. |

Ms. Jordon is in her first year at Creek Valley Middle School. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was Vice President of Mu Phi Epsilon International Music Fraternity. A flute
player from New Mexico, Ms. Jordon was a member of the New Mexico
All-State Band for 3 years, a member of the Texas Tech Wind Ensemble,
Flute Choir, and Flute Section Leader of the Goin' Band from Raiderland. |

Scott Baldwin Mr. Bladwin came to the L.I.S.D. in the fall of 2002 and is the percussion coordinator for the Hebron cluster (Creek Valley MS, Arbor Creek MS, and Hebron HS). A graduate of the University of Louisville, Mr. Baldwin also holds two masters degrees in music education and percussion performance from the University of Florida. Under his direction, the Hebron High School Drumline has quickly become one of the most respected ensembles in the North Texas area.
